HERE ARE YOUR TOP 25 FATHER DAUGHTER DANCE SONGS!
If you are a bride and lucky enough to still have your dad around, then I know you are thinking about your father daughter dance at your wedding. That special moment you get to have with dad is sometimes so touching for your guests there isn’t a dry eye in the house. I have also seen father daughter dances that get the party started and that are even choreographed! It’s really up to you or dad to choose the perfect song for that special moment.
Well, that said it can be overwhelming to pick out that perfect song! That’s why I decided to create a playlist with my top 25 songs that some of my clients have used for their father daughter dance songs for their wedding. Even if none of these songs are right for you, I’m sure they will help give you an idea or inspiration for the right song for you and dad!

Here are some pointers to help you decide on the right song. First, do you have a song that reminds you of your dad? It could be a song from childhood. Perhaps it’s your dad’s favorite song that he played all the time when you were a kid. This can be hit or miss though depending on your dad’s taste in music. Therefore, you might need to use another tactic.
If you can’t think of a song you and your dad loved throughout the years, then maybe think of some of your favorite albums. If not, albums, then perhaps you have a favorite movie soundtrack. Nothing brings out memories like a classic movie with a killer soundtrack! One of my ALL time favorites is “Dirty Dancing”! So can you start to get the wheels turning and think of a song that might work for you and dad? If not, then I have a last resort for you to explore.
So you can’t think of a soundtrack or a favorite song you shared with dad, so now what? I guess you are screwed and you can’t do your father daughter dance at your wedding. WHAT?!? Just kidding! There is always a solution when it comes to music. If you can’t decide then go with a classic choice. If you’re into country music then pick a great country classic song. If you love jazz then pick one of the best jazz standards out there. If you’re a classic rock fan then pick your all time favorite rock song and so on and so on. In conclusion, there is always a musical answer to your problem. Besides, everyone always loves a classic!
