Having live music at your wedding is a really nice touch. Especially if you want a string ensemble for your ceremony. Sure it could be a little more costly but it is well worth it. Nothing beats having live musicians during your ceremony or even a jazz trio for your cocktail hour.
Various String Ensembles and Their Cost
Musicians will usually be more costly for your ceremony depending on how many musicians you hire. A string quartet or string trio is ideal for a ceremony. A solo instrumentalist might fit the bill if you’re on a budget. A DJ would usually be cheaper for the hour but you may still need your DJ to provide a PA system so you have a mic with a stand. Therefore find out costs for all of these options before making your decision.
